Justin Chung is a photographer based in Los Angeles. Originally from San Francisco, he initially pursued pre-med before finding his way to photography.
His work is rooted in a curiosity about people and spaces, how people live, what they make, and the places they call home. Working across portraiture, interiors, and landscape, he is drawn to the everyday details that tell a larger story.
In 2014, he founded Faculty Department, an ongoing project documenting the lives and work of artists and makers around the world.
He lives with his wife and their two children.
